So recently I lost my luggage at Faro airport and I was going to my house in Portugal.Usually your airline will find your luggage with 2-3 days depending on where your luggage has been sent. Obviously you will need clothes, food,toiletries so for this a little bit of pre-planning is required before you travel .Have your hotel information in your hand luggage ,pack 24 hours worth of supplies in your hand luggage just in case because if it does go missing then that will be a relief. For example a toiletries,underwear a spare outfit , take a photo of your luggage before you go this might help for the aiport to identify your luggage.
